How Does Race Affect Quality of Healthcare The semester long project for this course is the project creating a power point presentation on a topic of your choosing, and how one social theory of your choosing connects with this topic. You are free to add any elements to the power point that you want; video files, web links, audio files, etc.

Power Point Project Components

There are three parts to the Power Point Project; the research question, the list of 5 scholarly sources, and the power point final submission. Each component has a corresponding assignment which is located in the Modules for the weeks that the three components are due; Modules 2, 5 and 7. The instructor will provide feedback and guidance after each of the first two submissions. All three components must be submitted in a timely fashion to receive a grade for the various power point project assignments.

Research Question:

You will need to create a research question about your chosen topic. It should be formatted this way: “How does ____________affect _____________________?” In the blanks you will have variables, such as gender, race, socioeconomic status, education level, life chances, employment opportunities, etc. You are not limited to these variables. At least one of the variables must be a sociological variable.

This assignment is pass/fail; if an outline is submitted, the full 5 points will be awarded.
