HIS 200 SNHU Equal Rights Amendments Research Topic: The Equal Rights Amendment
Describe the historical event that you selected. Why is this event significant?
a. The topic I have chosen is
focused on the rights of men and women. I am researching why women deserve the
same rights as men. “essential argument—that granting women equal rights would
deprive them of important benefits, including workplace protections—was
embraced by organized labor and by many working-class women.”
b. This event is significant to me
because I am a woman in the work forces and in my workplace, I do see myself
along with other women working a lot harder than men. Equal Rights for women in
the workplace are still an issue today. Jessica Smith
