Different theories about memory

Use references from this module and include APA in-text citations.

.Module 3 Written Assignment will give you the opportunity to apply the memory theories to a criminal court case. This criminal case is located in a video in the Lesson Content. You need to define and apply all three of those** ).
  • Describe how EACH theory could affect the memory and testimony of EACH witness (i.e. credibility of their testimonies).
  • Create a document that you will submit to the judge summarizing the verdict process. Summarize all of the testimonies and evidence and describe the verdict process for the judge (i.e. how the jury decided innocence or guilt).

Three main steps to paraphrasing

Select three of the ten references from your Reference List assignment. Create an annotated bibliography for each of the three references.

Each annotation must have 150-200 ws, making a total of 450-600 ws for the entire assignment. Each annotation should have the following elements:

  1. APA style reference of the article being annotated
  2. A paraphrased summary of the article (See note on paraphrasing below.)
  3. An assessment of why it is a scholarly reference
  4. A reflection on how it is applicable to your research

Note: Go to the Student Success Center and search key words “Preparing Annotated Bibliographies” for help with this assignment.

Note on Step 2 Paraphrasing: Paraphrasing the ideas of others is a requirement in academic writing and graduate study. Paraphrasing is using your own words to restate ideas or information from a source material. As you write each annotation use the following paraphrasing guidelines.

There are three main steps to paraphrasing:

  1. Identify the original idea(s) in the article
  2. Identify general points regarding the idea(s)
  3. Summarize the general points of the article in your own words

Follow the steps above for all three references you chose.

Sample Treatment Plan

For this assignment, I am to write a treatment plan for the family members in ENCANTO, the Disney movie. Only four cited sources are required, and 2-single spaced pages. I want to see it done from another person’s perspective.

A treatment plan is a contract between you and the client family about what will happen during the course of treatment. It is the clinical justification for everything you choose to do over the course of treatment. Treatment goals reflect both the final destination (long-term goals), the route for getting there (short-term goals), and the need for traveling (definition of problem).

Whatever happens over the course of treatment should always be linked to the agreed-upon treatment plan. Treatment plans are established for the purpose of guiding treatment.

In this assignment you will create a treatment plan for the treatment application of your Unit 6 assignment. Use the information from that assignment to complete the Sample Treatment Plan from The Family Therapy Treatment Planner. This assignment should include the following in addition to what is required to complete the Sample Treatment Plan:

  1. Demonstrate thinking, awareness, and behaviors consistent with the legal and ethical guidelines provided by the state and by professional associations.
  2. A description and explanation of the DSM-5 diagnosis reached using presenting behaviors that align with the diagnosis and supported by any previous coursework. Keep in mind that diagnoses are based on symptoms that often develop out of maladaptive relationships.

Requirements

To achieve a successful project experience and outcome, you are expected to meet the following requirements.

  • Sample Treatment Plan: All parts of the Sample Treatment Plan are completed with the appropriate information.
  • Written communication: Written communication is free of errors that detract from the overall message.
  • APA formatting: Resources and citations are formatted according to current APA style and formatting.
